COURSE HIGHLIGHTS


Have you ever come across the answer of “No, it is not possible!”? Transforming your innovative idea into a real product/service can be challenges. Being an innovator without knowing the science and technology which are the tools for transforming your idea into something real is just like you are building a house with your bare hands. This course does not only prepare you to be an innovator with entrepreneurial skills. It will also give you sufficient basic science and technology including how to keep up with new technologies that will come out in the future needed for creating agro-industrial products and services.






COURSE CONTENT IN BRIEF



EXPLORE AGRO-INDUSTRY WORLD

Get to know Agro-Industry and how the sustainability concept is linked in the “Principles of Agro-Industrial Innovation” class.

Explore the basic concept of ‘DESIGN’ and ‘INNOVATION’ for creating ideas for your own innovation in the “Creative Studio for Well-Being” and “Creative Design of Agro-Industrial Innovation” classes.

Review basic science and math (Elementary Chemistry & Introductory Applied Mathematics).




APPLY KNOWLEDGE TO IDEATE NEW THINGS

Gain deeper knowledge in Chemistry & Physics (Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Abridged Physics)

Learn the advanced science and technology applied in agro-industry to envisage clearer ideas for your own innovation in the “Agro-Industrial Processing Technology” and “Microorganisms for Health” classes.

Understand how food and other agro-industrial products are produced and commercialized successfully in the “Brand Building and Management” and “Value Delivery System for Agro-Industrial Innovation” classes.




PLAYING WITH PROTOTYPE

Look at how to scale up products with ‘trust’ or ‘reliability’ and how to manage the production and service systems in agro-industry. Examples of classes that cover these points are “Quality Assurance and Safety Management for Agro-Industrial Product” and “Service and Production System Management for Agro-Industrial Innovation”.

Turning your innovative ‘ideas’ into a product ‘prototype’ through the “Development of Product Innovation Project”.






COMPULSORY INTERNSHIP (2 MONTHS)
AT THE SEMESTER BREAK BETWEEN THE END OF YEAR 3 AND YEAR 4



ENTER THE REAL WORLD

Investigate the domestic and international standards and regulations related to agro-industry in the “Standards and Laws for Agro-Industry” class.

Transform your prototype into ‘real’ sustainable agro-industrial business through the “Agro-Industrial Innovative Entrepreneur Project”.
